2 eggs
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
whipped cream or ice cream
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a large mixer bowl, beat the eggs at high speed for 5 minutes, until
foamy. Add the flour, sugar and brown sugar; beat until well blended. Blend in the melted butter. Stir in
the chocolate chips and walnuts. Pour the mixture into the pie shell. Bake for 1 hour or until a knife inserted
halfway between the edge and the center comes out clean, and the top is golden. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice
cream, if desired. (If using a frozen pie shell, use the deep-dish kind. Thaw completely before filling.
Place on a cookie sheet; increase baking time to 70 minutes.)
