2 egg whites
1 c. sugar
1 T. water
2 T. maraschino cherry juice
1 T. light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
10 maraschino cherries, chopped, or gumdrops
Mix together all of the ingredients except for the cherries or gumdrops and beat constantly while heating
in the top of a double boiler. When thoroughly mixed, thick and spreadable, frost the cake. Decorate the top of
the cake with the Maraschino cherries or gumdrops.
