1 (16 oz.) pkg. hot roll mix
1/4 c. chopped green candied cherries
1/4 c. chopped red candied cherries
1 1/4 c. sifted powdered sugar
5 tsp. milk
1 (8 oz.) jar red maraschino cherries
Prepare the hot roll mix according to the package directions, adding the chopped glace cherries. After
rising, shape into 1 1/2-inch balls and place on greased baking sheets. Let rise in a warm place until double in size.
Cut a deep cross into each bun with scissors. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Cool slightly. Combine the powdered sugar and the milk, mixing until smooth. Pour into the crosses on the buns.
Top with the whole maraschino cherries. Makes about 18 buns.
