1 egg
2/3 c. milk
2 1/2 c. biscuit baking mix (like Bisquick)
4 T. butter, softened
4 T. sugar
1 c. currants
1/2 c. candied orange peel
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Beat the egg; add the milk; then stir in the baking mix, butter and sugar.
Add the currants and the orange peel. Bake in small greased muffin cups (gem pans) for 12 minutes. Makes about
24 tiny buns.
