2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
about 1 c. milk
Combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Add enough milk to the dry mixture
to form a biscuit dough. Mix well. Roll out to 1/2-inch thick on a floured board. Cut into 2 x 3-inch shapes.
Then cut a hole in the center or slit the shaped dough. Fry in deep fat, turning only once. The bread should be
crisp on the outside. Serve while hot. Serves 6.
