4 qts. green beans
8 c. water
8 bouillon cubes
1 tsp. onion powder
The beans should be stemmed, washed and ready for the freezer container. Combine the water, bouillon
cubes and onion powder in large (8-qt. at least) kettle. (Do NOT substitute onion salt; it is not strong enough.)
Bring to a rolling boil and add the beans. Cover and bring back to a boil. Adjust the heat so that it won't boil
over and continue boiling for 12 minutes. Remove the cover and cool well. Pack the beans into freezer containers
and cover with the cooled liquid. Seal and freeze. When ready to serve, simply set a frozen block into a pan and
set the heat on low to melt the liquid. Bring to a boil and serve.
