3 T. butter or margarine, melted
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. garlic powder with parsley
1/8 tsp. ground red pepper
salt to taste
1/3 c. chopped pecans
1 lb. green beans
In a small bowl, blend the melted butter or margarine, sugar, garlic powder, red pepper and salt.
In a 12-inch non-stick skillet, heat 2 tsp. of the garlic mixture over medium-high heat and cook the pecans, stirring frequently,
2 minutes or until the pecans are golden. Remove the pecans and set aside. In the same skillet, heat the remaining
garlic mixture and stir in the green beans. Cook covered over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 6 minutes or until
the green beans are tender. Stir in the pecans. Serves 4.
